Natalie Rothstein, MA, LCPC (she/her)
I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. I received my Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University. I work with adults for individual therapy. My specialty areas include: anxiety, depression, grief & loss, life transitions, self-worth, relationship issues, body image, eating disorders, self-compassion, LGBTQ+, and more. I have experience providing therapy in multiple areas including: clinic setting, high school setting, group therapy practice and in private practice. I also have experience doing mental health consulting and workshops for sleep away camps and camp organizations. I am a trauma-informed therapist and I strive to incorporate an anti-racist and anti-oppression lens that considers harm reduction. I continue to explore these areas through learning and doing work to deepen my understanding and my awareness both personally and professionally.
If you’re looking to navigate difficult life stages and learn more about yourself, to become more mindful, to grow and feel more comfortable with who you are, I may be a good fit for you. I am passionate about incorporating warmth and authenticity into therapeutic relationships. I believe that therapy should be a safe place where clients can feel heard and supported and I strive to create that. As a therapist I provide treatment that best fits each client’s individual needs in a therapeutic context by integrating different therapy styles.
Starting therapy can be an overwhelming process and part of that is finding a therapist who is right for you. I’m available for a consultation to talk about what you’re looking to gain from therapy and how I can help you. I believe therapist fit is incredibly important and having a consultation phone conversation can help start that discussion. If you would like to schedule a phone consultation, please fill out the contact form on the contact page.
